POLYCARBONATE SHEET
Petalux™ PC sheet is made by polycarbonate (PC) resin. It is one of the most widely used engineering plastics in the world. Polycarbonate Resin has excellent mechanical, optical, electrical and thermal performance. Petalux™ polycarbonate (PC) solid sheet is light in weight, with high impact strength and light transmission rate, flame retardant, good stability, corrosion resistant, aging resistant, sound insulation, easy thermoforming and many other excellent properties.
Features of PETALUX™ Polycarbonate Solid Sheet
• Light weight: the weight is only half of ordinary glass, it saves transportation cost, and easy for installation, etc..
• High impact strength: the impact strength is 25-30 times of the glass and acrylic.
• High transparency: high transparency, transmittance can reach 86%.
• Fire Retartant: self-extinguishing, the fire self-finishing, not generating toxic gases.
• Good stability: in the environment of -40oC~120oC, there is no obvious change in its performance.
• Erosion Resistant: in addition to a number of specific materials, it has good erosion resistance to a variety of chemical substances.
• Anti-aging: it has coextruded UV layer on surface which can isolate the ultraviolet ray effectively so to prevent aging of product.
• Sound Insulation: its sound insulation performance is remarkable, is the ideal material of the sound barrier.
• Heat insulation: insulation effect is good, can effectively reduce the energy consumption.
• Easy Thermoforming: it is easy to process, and can be produced into a variety of shapes of products.

Petalux™ new generation polycarbonate sheet is made by special modified resin (infrared barrier and metal reflector technology) in thermal control management. This make it possible that to ensure light passing through, at the same time, effectively block the infrared heat away. The new generation Petalux™ abrasion resistant polycarbonate sheet has special harden coating on one side or both side to provide durable resistance to chemical corrosion and scratch resistance
Polycarbonate crystal hollow sheet while maintaining high transmittance, produced by special Bayer crystal modifier, the inner wall part particles changed ordinary polycarbonate sheet apperance. It reduces light reflection so that light become soft, and not dazzling
The embossed polycarbonate sheet has different design of textures on surface. It helpful for privacy protection. Besides, it gives scattering effect, and makes light soft. It effectively reduces light pollution.
